Who is eligible to use the photo submission application?

Only NEW INCOMING FRESHMAN students – incoming freshmen are allowed to upload a photo. In order to login to upload a photo you need your TCNJ username and password.

What are the requirements for the submitted photo?

Do I need to notify TCNJ once I upload my photo?

No, the application will automatically notify the Office of Student Accounts that the photo has been received. All communications regarding the status of your ID card will be sent to your TCNJ email account, please check your email periodically to verify the status of your ID card processing.

How will I know if my photo was accepted?

You will receive a verification email to your TCNJ email advising you if your photo was accepted or rejected.

Where do I pick up my ID card?

ID cards will be available for pickup during Freshman Orientation week. Should you not be able to attend, your ID card will be available for pickup in The Office of Student Accounts, Green Hall 119, during Welcome Week.

**Please remember that you will be required to show a government issued photo ID when picking up your TCNJ ID card.

Freshmen residents: What if I’m moving in early?

We are working with Residential Education & Housing to ensure that your ID card will be available when you move onto campus.

Can I have my ID card mailed to me?

No, you are required to show an official government issued photo ID when you pick up your ID card.

What if I don’t have a driver’s license, passport, or government issued photo ID?

If you don’t have a government issued photo ID, please email idcards@tcnj.edu and we will evaluate your situation on a case by case basis to rectify the issue.

What if I didn’t submit my photo online in time?

Incoming freshmen have from May 22nd until June 30th to submit an ID photo.

Students who do not submit their ID photos online timely will be able to have their photo taken during Freshman Orientation week.

Please note, you cannot review and approve the photo taken in the office.

Can I change my picture later?

A new photo cannot be submitted online, however a new photo can be taken in the Office of Student Accounts and you will have to pay the replacement ID card fine. The fine is reviewed by the Board of Trustees every July, and as of the July 2015 meeting the fine is $10.00.

Please note, you cannot review and approve the photo taken in the office.
